Hi! I’m Joseph, a motivated foundation year PhD. student at the University of Bristol Interactive Artificial Intelligence CDT!
I’m excited to jump into meaningful research in industry. I have experience in HPC (Using C type languages), Python for reinforcement learning and NLP applications, as well as a love for writing, technical analysis and research.
I’m interested in Reinforcement Learning, especially in terms of MARL, and understanding how different agents can cooperate with each other. I enjoy learning about psychology and biology to act as a base for how to build AI.
I also am invested in the socio-economic factors that AI has influenced in society, and understanding the ethical and philosophical motivations of how and where to deploy these systems in meaningful, positive ways. I am currently spending some of my free time writing about our relationship with technology and the future of the internet to help add value to my work outside of my study.
